A journey through the agave fields:
Upon arriving in the village, we will begin our tour by strolling through the agave fields, where the robust plants stand tall like guardians of Oaxacan heritage. Amidst a landscape of mountains, cacti, and agaves, we will immerse ourselves in their history, tracing their transformation from the earth's embrace to the nectar that graces your glass.
And, of course, there will be plenty of photo opportunities.

Revealing Traditions
Our journey continues at the doors of my family’s mezcal distillery, where the air is rich with the sweet aroma of roasted agave — a promise of the treasures that await inside. Guided by me and our maestro mezcalero, you’ll step back in time to witness the ancient process that transforms the humble agave hearts into the liquid gold known as mezcal.
The highlight of our experience comes with a tasting of our finest mezcals, each one with its own character, story, and soul.
As you raise your glass, the velvety spirit dances on your tongue, revealing flavors that range from earthy and smoky to delicate and floral. With my guidance, you’ll learn to recognize the subtle nuances in every sip — a journey that awakens your senses and deepens your appreciation for this remarkable elixir.

Oaxacan Feast & Friendship
In the warmth of my family’s home, an authentic Oaxacan feast awaits. The table overflows with traditional dishes — each one carrying the flavors and stories of our heritage. As we gather to share food, laughter, and mezcal, bottles are uncorked and friendships are born in the joyful spirit of celebration.
Here, cultures meet and connect, turning every toast into a living tribute to the magic of mezcal and the soul of Oaxaca.

Until We Meet Again
As we make our way back to the meeting point, we carry with us memories that will forever flavor our hearts. The bonds we’ve formed, the flavors we’ve tasted, and the stories we’ve shared will continue to connect us long after the warmth of the mezcal fades.
The drive from our meeting point to Mitla takes about 45 minutes, and the same for the return trip.
Thank you for sharing the liquid culture of Mexico with us — until we meet again!
