Here, we will visit the fishermans colony and the Casa de Iemanja, to learn about the afro brazilian traditions, which so well reflects bahia's religious syncretism. Time to move on to the Market, with its vibrants colors and intense smells. We will walk the alleys and taste the cachacas (the spicy, sweet and fruity liquor distilled from fermented sugar cane). Lot's of leaves used in the cambomblé to do the traditional cleanning of energies. Great chance to lear about palm oil, coconut milk, yuca flour and all kind of peppers for local cuisine. Next stop, a real community /favela to enjoy some popular street art. This place is famous for graffiti and social projects.
