Située sur la falaise surplombant la plage de Kaneo et surplombant le lac d'Ohrid, dans la ville d'Ohrid, en Macédoine du Nord, l'église est dédiée à Jean de Patmos, auteur de l'Apocalypse, que certains considèrent comme la même personne que Jean l'Apôtre.

Visitez le centre-ville et le vieux bazar où vous découvrirez les maisons typiques d'Ohrid. La majeure partie de la ville est pavée de pierre, ce qui lui a valu le nom de Lyhnidas, d'après le latin « pierre précieuse émettant de la lumière ».

After the visits to Ohrid, we will drive toward the Monastery of Sveti Naum. This monastery is also at the same time where St Naum is buried. It is a holy place where people from all over the world come to practice their religion. Furthermore, the Monastery Complex was part of the Albanian border from 1912 to 1925 when it was returned to Yugoslavia. Visit Tushemisht Leaving the Macedonian border we will head toward Albania and stop at Tushemisht. Different from most of the Villages of the Albanian Part, it is very similar to Ohrid with the main Orthodox religion. In addition, we will drive to Tirana where will be at the end of our tour.

Leaving Tirana at 09:00 we will head toward the South-East of Albania. After entering the Macedonian Border the first city is Struga, named after an ancient local legend of a young boy. Ohrid is situated next to Stuga, on the shores of the same lake for centuries has been the place where different cultures have to meet each other. Founded from Ancient Ilirain and Greek tribes it has passed into many different riling systems such as Roman, Byzantine, Bulgarian, Turkish, Serbian, Yugoslavia and lately being part of the Independent Republic of North Macedonia. Situated into the Hills of the City it was built under the rule of Bulgarian Tsar Samuil in the 10th Century. It is believed that it has built the settlements of an ancient fortification of the 4th century BCE, built by Philip 2nd.
