We propose a unique and special trip that combines its services in two sections: National Route 51 by Bus, with photographic stops at panoramic points, to embark on the magical experience of the Train to the Clouds, which manifests itself in all its splendor when arriving at the imposing viaduct in the foothills of the Andes. Alternatively, if you prefer to explore independently, we offer the "Only Train Ticket" option. With this choice, you'll only pay for the train ride, and the tour begins at the San Antonio de los Cobres train station.

This amazing full day guided excursion is by far one of the most impressive and complete tours you will ever do. Travel through the best part of the Puna, doing by truck the Train to the clouds trip up to San Antonio de Los Cobres. This tour is also very complete because you will see part of the Humahuaca Gorge, the amazing "Cuesta del Lipán", the 7 colors hill, Purmamarca and of course the great salt flats.

This is a tough 7-9km hike through stunning and rugged high altitude scenery: suitable for the experienced and adventurous trekker! From Salta city, we travel to Campo Quijano, a town famous as the base for workers constructing the Train to the Clouds railway line to the Chilean coast. We can stop to see an antique engine and the mausoleum of the train line's chief engineer, Richard Maury, from Philadephia, USA. From here we will climb into the stunning multi-coloured Quebrada de Toro, crossing rivers and driving off road through canyons to reach San Bernardo de las Zorras, where our hike begins. It's two hours travel each way: the walk takes between 4 and 5 hours. Our guide is experienced in hiking all terrain, and speaks English and Spanish. Picnic lunch provided.
