An extravagant barbecue lunch with limitless wine is also included. Travel the old Trans-Andean railway via minibus on this 8-hour small-group tour. With your guide, pass the snow-capped Cordón del Plata and stop by the turquoise Potrerillos lake on your way to the mountain town of Uspallata. After passing through Penitentes Ski Resort you’ll reach Aconcagua Park. On your return back you will have the opportunity to stop and see Puente Del Inca, a naturally formed bridge over a steep ravine. Once in Uspallata you’ll enjoy an afternoon lunch of Argentine asado (local style barbecue - not gourmet) before concluding your tour at approximately at 5:30pm.

Ride the Route 7 mountain range, taking into account the majestic Andes Mountains. The first stop is at Potrerillos del Río Mendoza, which follows the road during the excursion. We continue traveling through a tunnel area and then into the Uspallata Valley, which separates the pre and the front ridge. Then we started up the high mountain road. We will reach Los Penitentes. We continue to travel the international route in a landscape framed by the Andean massif and bordering the old railway line. We arrive at Puente del Inca, a natural bridge with hot springs and a rich history. Then the mountains open to show Aconcagua, stop at the Mirador. Finally we come to the city of Las Cuevas and the weather permitting, we go to Christ the Redeemer. Lunch at the restaurant or option to make our own barbecue with chef. We will head southwest on Provincial Route 86, enjoying the landscapes of Cacheuta until we cross the tunnel that connects this town with Potrerillos. We will contemplate the wonderful view of the Cordón del Plata, Mendoza’s main source of water and, of the picturesque Potrerillos Dam, a mirror of crystalline water in the middle of mountains. We will continue, until we reach the town of Uspallata. Where we will make a strategic stop to get a better view of the Valley. Already back in the van, we will move a few kilometers, until we reach “Puente del Inca”. Mandatory stop icon of our mountain range. Once we return to the route, the Aconcagua Provincial Park awaits us. There we will obtain the corresponding permits to make a walk of approximately two hours, to the viewpoint of the Laguna de Horcones, where we can see the South Wall and the summit of the highest hill in America. *The route of the tour may be affected by road conditions during the winter due to weather conditions.

On this full day, guided excursion, you will go through the mountains that surround Mendoza city. See stunning scenarios along the way, and many other points of interest such as the majestic Cordon del Plata mountain range, the Potrerillos Dam, Uspallata settlement, and "Puente del Inca" which is the southern last point of the Inca Empire, Aconcagua scenic viewpoint and the Cristo Redentor monument. The tour consists of a tour through the high mountains, in a group car and with a driver specifically designated for the client, who will not only be the one who takes them but also who accompanies them and helps them learn, from their experience, the route traveled. We will visit Potrerillos, Puente del Inca and Aconcagua; Lunch will take place in places close to these points and finally you will attend Entre Dos, an alfajores factory where you can have a delicious mid-afternoon thanks to its typical alfajores. The itinerary will be put together with schedules adjusted to your liking and can be modified if desired with recommendations that the client makes to us.
