Our all included tour is the best option to enjoy this beautiful volcano which travelers have rated it as the most beautiful volcano in all Central America, its beauty is due to the twin volcano Fuego which is active and performs an extraordinary eruption for all the travelers at our camping area on Acatenango. Our company is located in front of the Fuego Volcano and if it is clear enough you will be able to see Pacaya and Agua volcanoes as well. Each cabin has a pillow, – 6°C sleeping bag, extra blanket, a 5″ or 12cm comfortable mattress, under the matt all over the tent we have a waterproof carpet to isolate the cold from the bottom. In our tourism project we work together with a cooperative of local guides CAT (Comité de Autogestión Turística) conformed by the people of the community San Jose Calderas, Chimaltenango. Our cabins are shared by 4 people.

We created the camp to provide a quality experience with excellent service, as we want our guests to experience the adventure of Acatenango without having a bad time. Our food portions are generously sized and made with sustaining ingredients, as we know firsthand how demanding this adventure is. The camp is new and very well-designed. It's also very well-located, with a surprising view of the the protagonist of this adventure, the Fuego Volcano. Our camp is called IXCANUL, which in the Mayan language refers to the internal force of the mountain, which can erupt at any moment. Board your transportation from the meeting point indicated in your reservation to go to the city known as La Soledad, which is located 1 hour from La Antigua. We provide you with the necessary sleeping equipment, a sleeping house, a jacket, gloves and a hat for the cold. We live with local people and you can take a nice memory of the area, where you will take beautiful experiences , remember that the activity requires a stable physical condition since the walk of the day one is approximately 5 to 6 hours depending on the capacity of the clients, First Layer (Breathable): Quick-drying T-shirts (dry-fit), leggings or long lycras (compression type), thermal underwear for the night. Second Layer (Coat) : Sweatshirt, lightweight sweater, a wool or fleece jacket to keep warm.
