From the outset quality was the objective. Award-Winning Goat Cheese Tasting and Farm Tour in Ennistymon
Meet your host at the St.Tola goat farm for a farm tour that includes a walk through the pastures, a presentation on cheese making and production, and a cheese tasting! On the tour, you will walk amongst the goats (weather permitting) and learn about the different breeds as well as the history of the farm. After your tour, you will visit the cheese making facilities and learn about the the process before going to the kitchen for a special cheese making demonstration. Your experience will end with a cheese tasting of the different varieties of goat cheese produced on the farm served with Irish crackers, local preserves and chutneys. You will learn all about the various flavors and textures of cheese and the best way to serve them. If you visit between February and the end of April, you will enjoy the spring kidding season and have the chance to feed the farm’s goats.
