Among the 5 circuits I propose, today I will take you to the Roman monuments of Pont du Gard, Nîmes, and Orange. The first quick stop will be in Nîmes in front of the Maison Carrée, an ancient Roman temple, before taking the guided audio tour of the Arènes de Nîmes. We will then stop at the Pont du Gard, for a picnic of local products from local farms (April to October only), then to walk around the Pont du Gard for superb views of this monument. Finally, we will head to Orange for a stop at the Arc de Triomphe and an audio-guided tour of the majestic Ancient Theatre. NB: starting in November 2026, only Orange and the Pont du Gard will be on the program of this tour.
