Nous commençons notre visite par l'un des bâtiments les plus intéressants du Loop : le Fine Arts Building. Construit en 1884 pour abriter une salle d'exposition et des bureaux, il a ensuite été transformé pour devenir son usage actuel. Nous nous dirigerons ensuite vers la bibliothèque publique Harold Washington de Chicago, dont le projet a remporté un concours pour la conception d'une nouvelle bibliothèque pour la ville. De là, nous admirerons trois monuments de Chicago construits à la fin du XIXe siècle, puis visiterons le magnifique Marquette Building, le Field Building (construit sur le site du premier gratte-ciel moderne au monde), puis l'incroyable hall d'entrée du célèbre Rookery Building. Nous nous dirigerons ensuite vers la station Quincy L, magnifiquement restaurée (conception authentique de 1897), pour prendre le train jusqu'à nos derniers arrêts. Nous visiterons l'emblématique Macy's pour admirer la magnifique mosaïque Tiffany, puis nous terminerons la visite au Centre culturel pour admirer le plus grand dôme Tiffany au monde.
