After meeting the driver inside the port area, we proceed to the first destination of the tour, Taormina, which is about 40 minutes from the cruise port of Messina. The first stop will be made at PIAZZA BELVEDERE, a splendid terrace overlooking the entire coast of Taormina, where you can take beautiful panoramic photos and where you can admire ISOLA BELLA from above, a wonderful and suggestive UNESCO World Heritage natural reserve, joined to the coast of Taormina by only a thin strip of sand!

The next destination will be the Corso Umberto in Taormina, the main street that crosses the entire city center and the place of greatest interest. On both sides of the Corso you can find a number of luxury boutiques, jewellers, clothing and souvenir shops. In addition, bars and restaurants, as well as major historical monuments such as: the famous GREEK-ROMAN THEATRE, which is used for the performance of plays and concerts by famous artists worldwide; PIAZZA IX APRILE, one of the best panoramic points of Taormina, with its incredible rooftop terrace overlooking the bay below and Mount ETNA, is considered the perfect place to take beautiful photos. You can also admire a small church that contributes to its charm, the CHURCH OF SAN GIUSEPPE, which takes up the Baroque style; located at the end of Corso Umberto is the CATHEDRAL OF TAORMINA, recognizable by its medieval facade and its Baroque-style door.

Among the things not to be missed while visiting Taormina, is certainly the small island located at the foot of the city, represented on every postcard of Taormina! It is possible to reach ISLAND BEAUTIFUL on foot in about 20 minutes from the top of the city (going back will be a bit tiring for the legs because of the many steps!). This beach is really amazing and definitely worth a visit, especially for the pebble beach and its crystal clear water where you can take a refreshing bath after the walk in town. If you also want to visit the interior of the villa located in the center of the island, an entrance fee of about 4 euros per person will be required, NOT included in the tour price.

It 'a small medieval village defined among the most beautiful in Italy, also famous for its ceramics. Located 5 kilometers from Taormina, the small town of Castelmola is definitely worth a visit, both for the ruins of its medieval castle and for its charming streets. Both in the village and in the castle, there are some of the most scenic points of the valley below and MOUNT ETNA. Don't forget to taste the ALMOND WINE, a specialty of the country.

Savoca is a town with a thousand attractions, even if it is actually a small village in the province of Messina. Famous for the settings of the hit film "The Godfather" by Francis Ford Coppola, shot in 1972 in these villages. In this country you can feel a return to the past, with few cars and little chaos, ancient buildings of the lava stone era, surrounded by citrus groves, vineyards and olive groves. In the background the beautiful Gulf of Taormina, reachable in a few minutes. Savoca has always welcomed its tourists with warmth, with its artistic ceramic panels worked by artists from Messina and with so much history, art and local traditions.

Upon returning from your tour of Messina, the driver will also make a stop at the famous Cathedral of Messina, not far from the cruise port, where you will admire the impressive Bell Tower with the most beautiful and largest astronomical and astrological clock in the world, where even here you can take beautiful photos!
