We will pass next to the remain of the ship Wreck the Dalblair. On the fateful night of 6-7 February 1902, Le Dalblaire – a three mast ship made entirely out of steel – got trapped in between the rocks in Blue Bay. The ship came from Cardiff in The UK and was heading towards Port Louis with a cargo of coal. There was a crew of 24 men on board under the command of Captain McLaren.

Île aux Fouquets (also known as Île au Phare, Lighthouse Island) is an island off the south-east coast of Mauritius. The island is of pure coral origin and has had Islet National Park status since June 5, 2004. It is located about five kilometers off the south-eastern coast in the vicinity of the islands of Ilot Vacoas and Île de la Passe.
