Begin your adventure with a scenic river cruise from any sandakan hotel or sepilok area.

Have a simple high tea and eat cakes made by locals. Take a walk around the village to see how people live and what they do. Along the riverbank,observe different kinds of birds and other animals. At sunset, sail to the nearest Pamaguan Island and enjoy the view of the sunset from a high point. Stop halfway through the cruise to learn about traditional crab traps from locals then cruise back to the jetty for dinner. As darkness falls, embark on a firefly cruise to witness the magical spectacle of fireflies lighting up the night.

After the fireflies cruise, return to the jetty and be transferred back to your hotel at the end.
