During this comprehensive day course you will learn lots of willow facts! How to harvest, prepare and weave using two techniques. After spending the first half of the course making the base, you will then break for lunch (bring a packed lunch).
Enjoy the tranquil surroundings of the farms tipi site, sit on the picnic benches, around the fire circle or in the cosy hut.
After a break you will learn a new weave, three rod wale, which is used to build up the walls of your baskets.
At the end of the session you will get one to one tuition to complete a complicated plaited style border that really finishes off your willow basket.
