The medieval city of Motovun. You will walk the cobblestone streets and tall walls with a Medieval historian. Reach Motovun traveling off the beaten path and recapture the old way of traveling.

Motovun Parenzana Tunnel
The 222 meters long tunnel of the once great railway Parenzana passing under Motovun. The tunnel is one of 9 others on the Parenzana, and the second longest (only behind the tunnel Lucan with its staggering 544 meters). The darkness and coolness of the tunnel will provide a nice refuge from the summer heat, all while learning about the old railway system and its unfortunate fate

Hiking on the Parenzana railroad. The once well know Parenzana railroad is now a hiking/biking path connecting Porec in Istria and Trieste in Italy. We will hike a peace of it on out tour together

We will hike around the hill on which the town of Motovun resides and climb to the medieval town using an old road that is often overlooked by traditional tours.
