Shravanabelagola
Depart for Shravanabelagola, home to the towering 58-foot Gomateshwara statue, one of the largest monolithic statues in the world. This sacred Jain pilgrimage site is revered for its deep spiritual significance and majestic presence.
To reach the statue, you’ll climb approximately 600 steps to the hilltop temple. The climb, though strenuous, offers stunning views of the surrounding hills and the tranquil atmosphere of the region. Comfortable footwear and water are recommended.
