Pick-up from the hotel in Lima and start of the trip by tourist transport to San Pedro de Casta. During the approximately 3-hour journey, we will cross spectacular Andean landscapes, with brief stops for photographs and stretches.
We will reach San Pedro de Casta (3,180 m.a.s.l.), a traditional village in the Lima mountain range. Here we will enjoy lunch in a local restaurant with typical food options of the region. After lunch, there will be a short break and time for last minute shopping, such as snacks or water.

Marcahuasi
Start of the trek to the Marcahuasi plateau (4,000 m.a.s.l.). The walk lasts between 3 and 4 hours, depending on the rhythm of the group.
The trail crosses varied terrain, from cobblestone paths to slightly inclined paths, with panoramic views of the valley and the Andean vegetation. Strategic stops will be made for rest and hydration.
Then we'll get to the campground. Welcome with hot drinks and time to install the tents. Guests can relax or explore the surrounding area in the evening.

Marcahuasi
Group dinner by the campfire, where an authentic experience will be shared in the middle of nature. Weather permitting, we will conduct astronomical telescope observation.
