Chiesa di Santa Maria presso San Satiro
Santa Maria presso San Satiro is a church in Milan. It is located in the centre of the city, near the Piazza del Duomo. The church was built in 1378 and its design is typical of Gothic architecture. . The church has a Latin Cross plan, with an octagonal dome and a spire on the crossing. The facade is divided into four parts: the central door with two windows, a narrow balcony with an arcade and two rows of mullioned windows.

Bibliothèque Ambrosienne
The Ambrosiana is a museum in Milan, Italy. It houses one of the world's most valuable art collections from the Renaissance, Baroque and Rococo periods.
The museum is housed in one of the city's landmarks, the former St. Ambrose Monastery, designed by Gian Battista Aleotti between 1602 and 1617.
The Ambrosiana was founded by Cardinal Federico Borromeo to house his vast art collection in 1739. In 1796–1803, during Napoleonic occupation, the collections were confiscated.
The artworks were transferred to the Marciana National Gallery and, after a few years, they were returned to Milan.The museum also houses four important paintings by Leonardo da Vinci, including his famous "Mona Lisa".

It has housed the Sforza-Visconti family and their court since 1395. , and has been the official residence of the head of the House of Sforza since 1450. However, by 1625 it was too deteriorated to be habitable, and was abandoned. It still stands in a ruined state and is now owned by the city government. The Castello is situated on a hill overlooking Piazza della Scala and Via Garibaldi.
