Walk through the historic neighborhood of Las Peñas, the oldest area of Guayaquil, known for its preserved wooden houses and artistic atmosphere.
You will stroll along cobblestone streets, passing restored traditional homes, local art galleries, and colorful façades that reflect the area’s cultural identity. Some of these houses remain part of long standing family residences, preserving the neighborhood’s living history.
The walk continues toward Cerro Santa Ana, historically known as “Cerrito Verde,” considered one of the original settlements where the city began to develop.
You will ascend the steps to reach a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the city and the Guayas River.
