With this excursion we will reach one of the most beautiful viewpoints of the Etna volcano to admire the sweet beauty of the sunrise.
The Sartorius Mountains (1,720 m) will be the place where we will wait for the sunrise. They are ancient craters formed during the 1865 eruption. The name is a tribute to Wolfgang Sartorius von Waltershausen, the first scientist to catalog the eruptions of the volcano in the 19th century. From the Sartorius Mountains we will move to the Grotta della Neve, a small lava flow tunnel used in the past as a snow mill (place where snow was kept for the summer season).
