On this tour, you will first visit a pottery factory in the Avanos region, known for its historic Silk Road Bazaar. Here, you will observe the pottery making process, including the dyeing phase, which requires special skills, and learn all the details from experts in the field. Then, you will have the opportunity to create your own pottery, wearing appropriate clothing for the task.
After the pottery factory, you will visit a carpet factory. There, you will witness the weaving techniques, dyeing process and other aspects of carpet making, a Turkish tradition dating back to ancient times. You will gain valuable insights and have a wonderful experience.
