Les monastères des Météores imposent un code vestimentaire aux visiteurs. Les hommes doivent porter des pantalons longs et des chemises à manches. Les femmes doivent porter des jupes descendant sous le genou (les pantalons sont interdits) et couvrant les épaules. Elles peuvent également porter un long foulard enroulé autour de la taille pour respecter le code vestimentaire.

The optional Hiking Tour on the second day is weather dependent and requires a minimum of 3 participants in total to operate. In case of unsuitable weather or if the minimum number is not met, the itinerary proceeds with the Morning Sightseeing and Monasteries Tour.

On day one, your journey starts as you board our private, air-conditioned bus at 07:45 AM, conveniently departing from the street across the Central Railway Station of Athens (Stathmos Larisis). Sit back and enjoy a scenic bus ride through the enchanting countryside, offering picturesque glimpses of mainland Greece.
Enjoy a relaxing 30-minute stop at a local store halfway along the route, perfect for refreshments and a restroom break.

Meteora
At 12:45 arrive at Kalambaka, where your tour guide will be waiting for you, holding a signboard with your name and will transfer you to your hotel for some relaxation.
In the afternoon you will be picked up from your hotel for a Meteora sunset tour. During this tour you will have the opportunity to enjoy the panoramic views, admire the remarkable architecture and natural beauty of this unique landscape and witness one of the most breathtaking sunsets you will ever see. Then you have free time to explore the city of Kalambaka.

Saint Nicholas Monastery
The Monastery of Saint Nicholas of Anapafsas is literally suspended in air on a small rock and is the first monastery that we meet on our way from Kastraki village to the stone forest of Holy Meteora.

Holy Trinity Monastery (Agia Triada)
The Monastery of the Holy Trinity is the third oldest monastery in Meteora and is the most difficult to reach, since the visitor has to cross a downhill path and then ascend 145 steps carved into the rock.

St. Stephen’s Monastery
The Monastery of Saint Stephen’s is located just above the city of Kalampaka and is the most accessible monastery in Meteora, as there are no steps to reach the entrance and the access is easy through a small stone bridge.

The Byzantine church of of the Assumption of Virgin Mary is situated in the old district of Kalampaka and is the oldest preserved monument in the whole region of Meteora.
