ITINERARY 7:00am Transportation from Flores or Belize Western border to Ecolodge El Sombrero in Yaxha to get the boat to Topoxte. 9:00am The boat departs the lodge to the island of Topoxte across the Yaxha lagoon. A Post Classic settlement with evidence of occupation during the Classic Period under the influence of Yaxha. Here, the Principal Plaza has been excavated and restored so you can go up some structures.
