Located on the scenic Hamakua coast. From Hilo, turn left on Leopolino Rd after mile marker 16; from Kona, turn right on Kauniho Rd after mile marker 17. Follow signs to Old Mamalahoa Hwy. Look for our signs next to the Old Umauma Bridge and drive up our steep driveway to the Visitor Center.

Itinerary

Umauma Falls
Guest will check in at the Visitor Center 45 minutes prior to their tour time. Guides will gather the guests approximately 15 minutes prior to their tour time. Guests will then be loaded into a van that will drive them approximately 10 minutes to the destination. Guest will then travers down a steep trail that will lead them to our private waterfall and swim area. Guests will be allowed to utilize the available kayaks and stand-up paddle boards and lawn chairs to enjoy their 1 hour relaxing tour at this beautiful tropical paradise. Guests will be driven back down to the Visitor Center after their tour. Parking is located next to the Visitor Center.
