Take only a small backpack or carry-on bag to Aguas Calientes. The train does not allow large luggage and, if you carry more, you will be charged an extra 50%. Most travelers leave their large bags at their hotels in Cusco, where they keep them free and safe.

Tickets to Machu Picchu will be allocated subject to availability at the time of booking. The first option will be Circuit 2, so we recommend booking in advance. If exhausted, Circuit 1 or Circuit 3 will be assigned as the last option.
