We will pick you up from your hotel at 4.30 am and be driven in a car for 1 hour and 20 minutes to the KM 104 to start our Inca trail tour. You will get ready to hike for 4 hours from KM 104 to Wiñaywayna; along the way your guide will explain about the flora, fauna and Inca sites. You will have lunch in Wiñaywayna. Then you will hike 2 hours in order to arrive to the sungate. From here you will have the first glimpse of Machu Picchu, so you take your time to enjoy Machu Picchu from above. Then you will hike 40 minutes down to Machu Picchu, where you can enjoy the sunset and take the famous postcard photos of you and your loved ones. (The short Inca trail gives you the chance to see Machu Picchu from the lookout on the first day and to explore Machu Picchu on the second day). Afterwards you will take a bus down to Aguas Calientes where you will spend the night. Here also you will have dinner and coordinate the visit to Machu Picchu for the next day.
