The forest walk takes us to the peak of the Banj brdo (Banj hill), the picnic area locally known as Šehitluci. Banj brdo is located about 6km from the city center. Due to its location and beautiful nature, this area is one of the most popular locations for locals to visit.
There is an asphalt road that takes you all the way to the top of the hill, but we choose the forest trail because it has many benefits. Besides enjoying beautiful nature and cleaner air, spending time in the forest improves our health immunity and quality of sleep. It also reduces (every day) stress levels.
