A busy day exploring the region’s unique and most treasured assets, beginning with a short stop at the magnificent Tule Tree. Next up is a guided tour of ancient Mitla, and enjoying the busy market at the gates of the archeological site, good for food and crafts.
Additional hiking, swimming and food are afternoon options at iconic “petrified waterfall” Hierve El Agua, where we’ve planned plenty of time to soak it all in.
Learn about Oaxaca’s renowned local mescal tradition on our way back to the city and, if you wish, a tasting.
