Along the way we pass cotton plantations which form one of the Largest sources of income for Uzbekistan. In Shahrisabz we explore the town’s famous monuments including - the Kök Gumbaz Masjid, - Hazrat-i-Imam Complex and - Dor-ut-Tilavat Ensemble. We also visit - Aq Saray Palace from where stunning views of the surrounding area can be enjoyed. In the evening we continue by road to the great city of Samarqand, jewel of Central Asia and one of the key trading centres along the ancient Silk Route.
