The Incas' Sacred Valley

Cusco
We will begin this great adventure with pickup from your hotel at 8:00 am to go to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, Pisac, Colonial Inca. We will discover one of the Inca archaeological sites, high on the mountain with impressive stone walls, agricultural terraces, irrigation systems and the largest cemetery of the Inca Empire.

Pisac
In Pisac, we will have the opportunity to visit the archaeological center, where we will learn about its rich culture and tradition.
We will have time to explore and shop at the craft market, where local artisans sell ceramics, textiles, jewelry, Andean instruments, alpaca products, and souvenirs. Then, we will continue our trip of approximately one hour through the Sacred Valley until we reach Urubamba. Here, we will enjoy lunch at one of the local restaurants, offering a variety of traditional dishes prepared with fresh produce.

In Urubamba, we will enjoy a delicious lunch and have an hour to savor the local food.

Ollantaytambo
In the afternoon, we will visit the archaeological complex of Ollantaytambo, where we will admire the Inca technique of working stone. This is the last Inca citadel standing, built on ancient Inca buildings. We will explore the archaeological site, which includes temples, terraces, warehouses and an imposing Inca monolith.
Then, we will depart by train from Ollantaytambo station to Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival, our staff will assist you in staying in one of the hotels in the area. (You can choose between a tour with or without accommodation).
