1
Poly Cultural Center
Nestled between offices and residential buildings, this open-air fountain plaza is a vibrant community hub. Locals gather here to relax, children splash and play by the fountains, and spontaneous outdoor performances occasionally bring the space to life. It’s also a popular spot for capturing great photos.

The famous "Spring Bamboo Tower" from right under!
Rising 392 meters above Shenzhen Bay, the China Resources Tower—also known as the “Spring Bamboo”—is one of the city’s most recognizable landmarks. Completed in 2018, it was designed by international architects to resemble a bamboo shoot emerging from the ground, symbolizing growth, resilience, and rapid development in Chinese culture.
Located in the heart of the Shenzhen Bay headquarters district, the tower anchors a modern urban complex of offices, luxury retail, and public spaces along the waterfront. From right beneath the building, you’ll notice its unique tapered shape and geometric structure rising elegantly into the sky—making this one of the best spots in Shenzhen for dramatic, upward-looking photos.

Shenzhen Bay Park
We’ll continue our journey with a scenic ride along Shenzhen Bay, right by the sea. This coastal cycling path is one of the most relaxing and picturesque routes in the city, with wide, smooth lanes and uninterrupted ocean views. As we ride, you’ll feel the sea breeze, see Hong Kong just across the water, and pass locals jogging, cycling, or simply enjoying the waterfront. It’s a perfect contrast to Shenzhen’s fast-paced tech scene—showing you a slower, more livable side of the city.
Along the way, you’ll also notice how thoughtfully the city has developed this area, blending urban life with nature. Parks, open spaces, and waterfront viewpoints are seamlessly integrated, making Shenzhen Bay not just a place to pass through, but a destination where people come to unwind, exercise, and connect with the outdoors.

Shenzhen
We’re now arriving at Shenzhen’s Fisherman’s Wharf, a charming waterfront area that reflects the city’s coastal roots. Before Shenzhen became a global tech hub, places like this were part of everyday life for local fishing communities. Today, the wharf blends that heritage with a more modern, laid-back atmosphere—where you’ll see fishing boats docked alongside seafood restaurants and locals enjoying the sea breeze.

This is K11 ECOAST—super modern, very different from a typical mall. It’s all about art, design, and open space facing the sea. We’re actually going to head up to the top, and from there you’ll see everything—the Hong Kong mountains, the bridge, the coastline, and even the path we just cycled. It really puts the whole journey into perspective.

Shenzhen
We’re going to get a really close look at the Shenzhen Bay Bridge—right next to it, actually. From here, you can truly appreciate the scale of this cross-border connection linking Shenzhen and Hong Kong, with traffic flowing constantly between the two cities. At the same time, you’ll be standing right by the edge of the South China Sea, with open water stretching out in front of you. It’s a unique moment where infrastructure and nature come together—modern engineering on one side, and the vast ocean on the other.
