Hovhannavank
One of the main sites:
Hovhanavank is one of the most beautiful monasteries in Armenia. It is located in Ohanavan village North-West from Yerevan.

Saghmosavank Monastery
One of the main sites
Saghmosavank is a historical Armenian monastery located on the edge of Kasagh canyon. From here opens a nice view of Canyon and Ararat mountain in the background.

Kasagh River
One of the main landmarks: Kasagh Gorge is a beautiful natural landmark on the edge of what is located churches Saghmosavank and Hovhanavank. This breathtaking canyon is especially beautiful on sunny days when the background the Mount Ararat is seen.

On our way to Amberd, we will pass next to Armenian Alphabet Monument. By request, we can stop here to have a short promenade.

We will continue our trip to Amberd fortress, located on the foot of Aragats mountain. This is one of the most beautiful fortresses located in Armenia.
