Jim Corbett National Park is the oldest national park in India and was established in 1936 as Hailey National Park to protect the endangered Bengal tiger. It is located in Nainital district of Uttarakhand and was named after Jim Corbett who played a key role in its establishment. The park was the first to come under the Project Tiger initiative. Day 01 - Delhi - Corbett National Park( 260 Kms 06 Hrs)
Pick up from New Delhi Airport or your hotel in New Delhi and drive to Corbett National Park, Drive past to "Garhmukteshwar" one of the famous pilgrimage place for Hindus. Pilgrims from nearby places come here to take a bath in Holy Ganges. On arrival at Corbett, check into the hotel. Take a leisure at hotel, later we will take you to "Corbett Fall" a scenic place near Corbett. Drive back to hotel.
