Participants should not have gone diving 24 hours before the climb.

It is mandatory to present yourself with proper mountain boots and equipment suitable for the activity. Failure to meet these requirements may result in exclusion from the climb, including by decision of the Mountain House, without the right to a refund

The difficulty is medium to high degree, depending on how is your physical preparation and coordination. Active people should not miss this adventure!
The ascent of Mount Pico start around 7am and an average duration between 7/9 hours, depending on the pace of the group and weather conditions. The steep and irregular trail is composed between solidified lava flows and scramble rocks, has 4km distance and 1100mt of elevation from the starting point at Casa da Montanha (1230mt altitude) to the top of Mount Pico - Piquinho (2351mt altitude), covering the full climb on 8km distance and an accumulated elevation ...
