Plaza de Isabel II
It is a starting point of your private tour (under the statue of Isabel II. Metro Opera). Take in the views of the square, named for the Queen of Spain Isabel II (ruled 1833-1868). On her initiative during the construction of the theater, which opened its doors in the Queen's birthday on 10 October 1850, the area was redesigned and received its present shape. The renovation ended in 2011, the area has acquired a modern look.

Royal Palace of Madrid
Real Spanish "Versailles", one of the most beautiful Royal palaces in Europe, built in the 17th century. On the West side of the complex there are beautiful gardens of Campo del Moro. During the reign of the dictator Franco, the Palace was nationalized, so the Royal family does not live here anymore, and only arranges official receptions.
The rest of the time the building is open to tourists, strolling around The Royal Palace and Plaza de Oriente.

The original Arab city walls can be seen today in the Park of Emir Mohammed I, located near Cuesta de La VEGA behind the Cathedral of the Almudena.

Plaza de la Villa
Plaza de La Villa is one of the oldest squares in Madrid, it was restored many times and a few times in its history it changed its appearance. It is situated in the old town, not far from the great Plaza Mayor. Three small street starting from the square: the Rue de codó (Calle Codo) – from the East, del Cordon (Calle del Cordon) from the South and Calle del Rollo (Calle del Rollo), which begins in the West.

Palacio de Cibeles
One of the main squares of the Spanish capital is Plaza de Cibeles. Here is the monumental fountain of the XVIII century and the Palace built in the early XX century. Since 2007, the building houses the residence of the mayor of the city.
Back in old days, citizens were taking drinking water from the fountain, and the building of the Palace served as the main post office.
Nowadays, the Plaza de Cibeles is a popular place among tourists locals.

Parque del Retiro
