This area is surrounded by nature and offers an environment of peace and tranquility. On this walk, we will hike through orchards and wooden bridges, heading to the Salto do Prego waterfall, where you can enjoy the beauty of the place. On the way back, we will visit the ancient village of Sanguinho, a historic settlement that takes us back in time. In the afternoon, we will explore Furnas, a place filled with volcanic phenomena and unique traditions from São Miguel Island.

Itinerary
The tour starts with a hike in Faial da Terra, following a stream through the forest to the Salto do Prego waterfall, where you can swim or relax. On the return, we pass through Sanguinho, an abandoned village with panoramic views.
After a picnic lunch, we visit Furnas to explore its fumarolic fields and volcanic activity. The day ends with a choice of relaxation at either Terra Nostra Park or Poça da Dona Beija thermal pools.
