Before diving into the river, you’ll receive a complete safety briefing and technical orientation — everything you need to enjoy this experience with confidence and fun. Each participant will be equipped with professional gear : wetsuit, helmet, life jacket, and paddle, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the ride. You’ll feel the anticipation building as you look out at the Maipo River, glistening between mountains and canyons — a perfect setting for the adventure that’s about to begin. This first stage lasts approximately one hour, giving you time to prepare, stretch, and take in the stunning surroundings before heading to the water.

The Ride to the River & The Rafting Adventure Once we’re ready and fully geared up, we’ll take a short and scenic ride down a dirt road that winds along the Maipo River canyon. At the riverbank, your guides will give a quick final briefing, and then — paddles in hand — you’ll jump aboard your raft. The first splash of icy Andean water hits your face, and the adventure begins. For the next one hour of pure adrenaline, you’ll navigate the brown rapids of the Maipo River, surrounded by towering cliffs, volcanic rocks, and snow-capped peaks.
