Wuzhen Water Town
Meet your guide in the hotel lobby of Hangzhou city or railway station. It takes around 1.5 hour drive trip to Wuzhen.
First visit to East Gate of Wuzhen, visit the interesting lanes and bridges, to picture the original style of the architectures, stroll through various types of the bridges, to taste the local favor of the cuisine, etc.
Unlike West Gate, it’s more leisure here, there are 72 ancient bridges, in hence, the number of stone bridges are the most ancient towns in China. Firstly, you will have a stop at the Hundred-Bed Exhibition Hall, which is the museum showing the ancient beds in the south of the Yangtze River. Afterwards, enjoy visiting the wood carving hall, which is known for the wood carvings that cover most of its structure. It’s lots to see and say in Wuzhen, such as Huiyuan pawnshop and temples , please wandering this ancient town, while hearing the stories about the local residents.
