Finally, you will admire the wonderful Palazzo Trinci, a medieval palace connected to the cathedral by a fascinating “suspension bridge” and built in the Gothic style in the early fifteenth century. Particularly famous is the precious cycle of frescoes painted by Gentile da Fabriano to embellish many halls of the palace, such as the notorious Hall of the Liberal Arts and Planets and the Hall of the Giants, decorated with monumental figures from the ancient Roman history, such as Emperors Augustus and Nero.
