About
The bus picks you up in Flåm and drives to Aurland, the largest village in the area. From there, we navigate hairpin bends up to the Stegastein viewpoint, 650 m (2132 ft) above sea level, offering breathtaking views of Aurlandsfjord.
We then return to Flåm and continue to Stalheim Hotel via the 11.4 km Gudvangatunnel. The road offers spectacular fjord scenery with mountains, waterfalls, and forests. The historic hotel, once on the Oslo–Bergen postal route, now has 220 beds and panoramic valley views.
After visiting Stalheim, we descend to the fjord and stop at Gudvangen, a picturesque village with unique fjord views. Following a final photo stop, the bus returns to Flåm pier.

Stegastein Viewpoint
The Stegastein Viewpoint is a spectacular panoramic platform located 650 meters (2,132 feet) above sea level, perched on a cliff along the Aurlandsfjord in Norway. It is part of the Norwegian National Tourist Route and offers some of the most breathtaking views in the region.
The viewpoint extends outward from the mountain in a unique, futuristic design, with a long, glass-fronted viewing platform that allows visitors to look directly down over the fjord. The platform is designed to provide a safe, yet thrilling experience, with unobstructed.
From this vantage point, you can admire the stunning Aurlandsfjord, the deep blue water below, and the towering mountains that surround it.
