Itinerary
We start at the same put in point as our whitewater rafting trip - just 20min drive outside Jinja town. Minimum number is 4 people.
After a quick safety briefing we push out to the river above the rapid ‘Jaws’ a big volume grade 2+ rapid which will get us wet and the adrenaline pumping!
Pyramid rapid (Grade 2) and the grade 1 ‘Giggitty Giggitty’ rapid are next before we float and meander our way down the river, taking our time to swim and enjoy the riverine life and the nature around us.
A 6km section of river in total we take out just above the big grade 5 rapids of ‘Overtime’ and ‘The Dutchman’.
