Africville Museum
Africville is one of the most significant and heartbreaking chapters in Canadian history. Located on the northern shore of the Bedford Basin in Halifax, Nova Scotia, it was a thriving African Nova Scotian community that stood for over 150 years before being destroyed by the city in the name of "urban renewal.
