Zona Arqueologica de Monte Alban
Monte Albán is an ancient and imposing pre-Hispanic Zapotec city, located only 20 minutes (8 km) from the center of Oaxaca de Juárez. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it stands out for its ceremonial architecture, a large central square and its strategic location on top of a hill.
Coming to Oaxaca and not visiting Monte Alban is like arriving and not tasting your food.

San Antonio Arrazola
San Antonio Arrazola (belonging to the municipality of Santa Cruz Xoxocotlán, Oaxaca) is known worldwide as the birthplace of the Alebrijes. Located only 12.1 km (about 20 to 30 minutes) southwest of the city of Oaxaca, this picturesque town stands out for its colorful streets and workshops where artisans make unique pieces from copal wood.

Mercado Tlacolula
The Tlacolula Market (whose main space is the Martín González Municipal Market) is the largest, oldest and most important indigenous tiangui in the Central Valleys of Oaxaca. Although the building opens all week, its true splendor occurs only on Sundays, when it is transformed into a gigantic market that floods the neighboring streets with traditional commerce and centuries-old practices such as Zapotec barter.

Zona Arqueologica de Mitla
The Archaeological Zone of Mitla is the second most important ceremonial center of the state of Oaxaca and the main political and religious axis of Zapotec culture in the Tlacolula Valley after the fall of Monte Albán. Its name comes from the Nahuatl Mictlan, which means "place of the dead", while in Zapotec it is known as Lyobáa, or "resting place"
