Learn how to cook a traditional Gambian dish such as domoda, yassa or benechin! Buy ingredients at the local market and learn the secrets of Gambian cooking. Jatoo is the oldest sister in the Kassama-family and she is an excellent cook.
The day starts at 09.00 when our driver comes to pick you up to go to the local market. Together with Jatoo you will chose and buy all the ingredients needed for the dish you are going to cook.
After the shopping the driver will take you to Jatoos house where she lives with her family. Together you will prepare and cook the food in a traditional Gambian kitchen. Afterwards you will all sit down together to enjoy the food.
