Cachora
After being picked up from your hotel in Cusco, you will travel by vehicle to San Pedro de Cachora, the starting point of the trek to Choquequirao Archaeological Site. From here, the hike begins through scenic Andean landscapes. After approximately 3 hours of trekking, you will reach the Capulliyoq viewpoint, where you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Apurímac River canyon and, in the distance, Choquequirao.
You will then descend towards Chiquisca, passing through diverse vegetation and warm canyon terrain. Upon arrival, you will enjoy lunch and dinner, followed by an overnight stay in a local lodge, surrounded by nature and tranquility.
