Cementerio Chauchilla
Located about 30 km south of the city of Nazca; you will find open tombs in adobe and stone wall pits, with mummified bodies in the fetal position, surrounded by ceramic fragments, textile remains and other funerary objects, some mummies still show strands of hair.
On the tour there is a small local museum (which exhibits recovered pieces, explains the nazca funeral rituals and provides historical context.

the Geoglyphs of Llipata immerse you in a universe of amazing figures. Prior to the Nazca Lines, these Paracas creations reveal felines, snakes and an enigmatic "Being Eyed" engraved on the slopes. An ancient testimony to a culture that mastered the art of drawing on earth, a mystery that continues to captivate!

The Geoglyph of the Orca, this enigmatic figure, dating from the Paracas-Nazca period, shows us a stylized orca, often with anthropomorphic elements or knives, suggesting a marine deity or a mythical being. It is a striking testimony to the Andean worldview and its connection to the ocean.
