During the harvest season, the terraces turn golden and vibrant, while in the watering season, they shimmer like mirrors reflecting the sky – creating a picture-perfect landscape.
More than just stunning scenery, Y Linh Ho offers a glimpse into the daily life of the Black Hmong people, who live simply and traditionally. You’ll find them working in the fields, weaving hemp fabrics, and hand-embroidering clothes, all within their humble homes nestled in the mountains.

Lao Chai is a charming village nestled in a peaceful valley, where narrow rice terraces stretch across the hills like green waves. Here, you’ll see small wooden houses scattered among the fields, blending harmoniously with the landscape — a truly serene and picturesque scene.
This is also a place where the Black Hmong people still live in close connection with nature, preserving their traditional crafts. As you walk through the village, you might see Hmong women weaving hemp fabric by hand and dyeing it with natural indigo – an ancient art passed down through generations.

Nestled deep in the Muong Hoa Valley, Ta Van is a unique village where two ethnic groups – the Black Hmong and the Giay people – live together in harmony. The village is surrounded by terraced rice fields and gentle hills, making it a peaceful and scenic stop along your trekking journey.
While the Black Hmong are known for their traditional indigo-dyed clothing and farming lifestyle, the Giay people are famous for their handmade herbal incense, crafted from local plants and forest herbs. Walking through Ta Van, you may have the chance to see the Giay women preparing these aromatic bundles, using techniques passed down from their ancestors.
