Itinerary
Join me in my home near Santa Elena for an authentic Costa Rican cooking experience in Monteverde. This is a hands-on, small-group class in a warm and welcoming setting.
You’ll be introduced to fresh, locally sourced ingredients and learn to cook traditional dishes step by step, such as handmade tortillas, rice and beans, plantains, and seasonal sides. The menu varies depending on what’s available—just like in Costa Rican homes.
As we cook together, I’ll share techniques and the cultural meaning behind the food. At the end, we’ll sit down and enjoy the meal family-style in a relaxed atmosphere.
