Roaguía
After the aerly pick up at your hotel, we will go directly to a town near by Hierve el Agua. This is a quick stop for breakfast in a small en local fonda "local restaurant" to enjoy handmade tortillas, organic corn, memelitas, eggs on the comal, tacos with beef, quesillo or pork, some coffee or a delicious hot Chocolate with bread!

Hierve el Agua
One of the best things is to get to Hierve el agua ealy, before the crowds, to enjoy beautiful views, get very nice photos, swim with no people or hike with the fresh morning. It´s necessary for us to mention that becuase of the way the native rule this park based on their traditions, we are not availble to guide you here. But don´t worry, it´s easy walk and get to the pools area and follow the paths for the beautiful views; make sure you bring bathing suits, towels and confortable shoes to walk!

Zona Arqueologica de Mitla
We will do a guided visit in this small but beautiful Archeological site! Something that makes Mitla unique is the impressive architecture with beautiful carved designs on the walls, we will be able to get to the Palace area and appreciate the second most important empire of the Zapotec culture. Welcome any culture and history questions!

Santiago Matatlan
In this traditional distillery we will learn about the Mezcal process, from the different types of agave plants, cooking process, fermentation, to the destilation. All the productions is artisanal and the locals will teach you how to drink it; make sure you are ready beacuse you will try many!

Teotitlan del Valle
To comple our day, we will visit a local workshop run by indigenous families; people still working with the traditional process of making wool rugs. They will explain step by step the materials they use, all the tools, the weaving technique and how they get the colors from using natural pigments. Questions and photos are welcome, you will have the opportunity to visit their gallery to appreciate the final products and support them!
