You'll meet your guides at the Mono Meadows Trailhead off Glacier Point Road, where you'll kick things off with gear checks and introductions before hitting the trail. The first day is designed to be easy, giving you a chance to ease into the adventure and find your trail legs. As you hike just over 3 miles with a gentle 290 feet of elevation gain, the alpine trail winds through wildflower-dotted meadows and alongside crystal-clear creeks. You'll set up camp near a scenic meadow that's perfect for stargazing, take a refreshing dip in the creek, and cap off the day with a freshly cooked backcountry gourmet dinner.
