Humayun's Tomb
Humuyuns Tomb is located in the capital of the country, It is UNESCO Heritage site which is widely visited by tourists from all over the world. An epitome of beauty, the tomb was the first of its kind to be built in garden style by the first wife of the great Mughal emperor, Humayun. His widow, Haji Begum, ordered the construction of the tomb about nine years after the emperor passed away. The period of construction spanned about seven years from 1565 AD to 1572 AD with a tomb being successively constructed for her within the same premises after her demise. In addition, the complex now also contains the tombs of Isa Khan Niyazi, Dara Shikoh, Alamgir II and many members of the powerful Mughal royalty. With a well-maintained garden, and an alluring architecture to marvel at, this piece of history located at Nizammudin East is a spot which has got to be visited by all.

The Rashtrapati Bhavan or the 'President's House or the 'Presidential Palace' was Lutyens' and Baker's inspired Imperial architecture that was made to be the residence of the Viceroy and Governor General of India during the British Rule. The Rashtrapati Bhavan was constructed on Raisina Hills with its entrance named as Gate 35 on Prakash Veer Shastri Avenue. It is situated in the centre of Delhi earlier named as 'Lutyens Delhi' and was inaugurated in 1931 and served as the Viceroy's residence of India up till India was declared a Republic country. This Palace is still known to be the World's largest residential complex ever built for Head of any Country.
